Dionne Dottin

– Coach

Dionne graduated from Form 6 at Arima North Secondary and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Biology/Pre-Med. Her experience in Crossfit began after hearing about iGone CrossFit from her cousin. Tired of her conventional gym routine, which she had done on and off since 2012, she jumped at the opportunity once she entered our doors on August 28th 2017. Because of school she was not able to be consistent and her weight kept fluctuating. At the gym she would do weights and some aerobics, and from a young age she swam and played netball. After her first session she was hooked and so began her life-changing journey. She just kept on coming back for more, pushing herself to extremes. She started seeing changes in her body and was able to capitalize on strength she never knew she had. As a bonus, she was learning a lot about the sport and herself. After winning the 3 month challenge the iGone team saw Dionne’s leadership abilities and encouraged her to join the Coaches Development Programme. The rest is history…

“CrossFit changed my life, not only because it helped me to lose weight, but because I was a part of something bigger and it gave me the opportunity to help others.”
